Main directions of the center activity:
- Organization and conduction of trainings for qualification upgrade of technical and sales sector staff of “Armenian Electrical Networks” CJSC , as well as for specialists of all enterprises of the power sector according to specialties and positions. Issuance of certificates upon trainings completion
- Testing system for knowledge examination and attestation according to specialities and positions (including the leading personnel) and issuance of corresponding certificates
- Development, shape and review of testing system according to the acting norms (in Armenian and Russian languages)
- Preparation of training programs, development of lectures and handbooks, their publication in Armenian and Russian languages.
Since 1994 post-graduate study courses in speciality E.14.01. “Power systems, complexes, power stations and their management” has been offering in the framework of “Scientific Research Institute of Energy” CJSC. Post-graduate study courses are attended by post-graduate students and applicants. Post-graduate study courses are full-time and free of charge. Duration of the study is 3 years. Those who work on their candidate thesis themselves may apply for a postgraduate degree as an applicant. The applicant courses are organized on a paid basis.
