Main directions of the laboratory activity:

• —Introduction of software packages and training
• —Calculation of steady-state regimes, losses and balancesin 110 kV and highervoltage networks, analysisof the results
• —Calculation of optimal steady-state regimes in 110 kV and higher voltage networks, analysisof results
• —Estimation and analysis of power system quality indicators
• —Design of dynamic stability calculation diagram for power system, dynamic stability calculations and analysis of the results
• Research of electrical power engineering, applied mathematical methods and computer algorithmic languagesby means of the web sites and resources of scientific and technical libraries
• —Organization of scientific seminars in the laboratory
• —Coordination of scientific and technical works carried out jointly with other laboratories and companies.

          All the mentioned functions are implemented by computer software developed at the Institute.
